      • "Dead Man Walking" is a work of non-fiction about convicted murderer Patrick Sonnier, by Sister Helen Prejean, a Roman Catholic Nun and one of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Medaille. The 1995 film based on the book of the same name starred Susan Sarandon, Sean Penn and Tim Robbins.
