I enjoyed this episode because it was a nice break from the whole Kelly/Professor Lasky storyline that had dominated the previous few episodes.
The episode is about the gang and their tough ethics professor. He has a reputation for being really strict and failing students with ease. Everyone is on edge because of the upcoming mid-term for the class. Zack ends up lucking out though as he ends up finding a copy of the mid-term. He shows it to Slater who tells Alex but unfortunately for all of them, Leslie rips it up and throw it in the trash stating that it was wrong to do. Fast foward to a couple scenes later when Zack ends up sneaking into the dumpster to retrieve the ripped up mid-term. There he encounters both Slater and Alex also trying to find it. A nice twist has Leslie also go into the dumpster even though she was the one who had ripped it up. She stated that the professor was unfair as her reason to cheat. Zack has a moment of clarity though and in the end decides not to cheat. This is a smart decision as it turns out the professor purposely placed copies of the mid-term around the campus so that all of his students would find them. The mid-term test ended up being whether they decided to cheat or not.
