  • The gang is still out at their semester-at-sea program aboard a cruise ship when they decide they wanna be slick. They want to have a party for Mr. Belding's birthday, while also getting Fake ID's to gain access to the ships casino.moreless

While aboard the ship the gang overhears the PA system hype up how this weekend is the big casino weekend that they do once a year, to the gangs happiness. They come up with a "brilliant" plan to get their fake ID's taken on a 6 foot piece of cardboard. Meanwhile Belding is planning the worst party ever by showing video tapes of his life story. So the plan is that during the showing of the tapes, one by one each member of the crew will sneak off out of the room and into the casino.

As soon as the movie starts and Belding turns his back, the gang all sneak out onto the casino floor. Meanwhile Tommy becomes friends with this older lady who gives him all her money to play Blackjack with. Unfortunately this IS SBTB and something has to eventually go wrong. Yhe gang had saved up enough money to buy Belding a brand new watch for their birthday gift to him. Ryan gets on a hot streak playing roulette. He stupidly puts all the money (including all of the money they were going to buy the watch with) on red and it doesnt take a rocket scientist to realize that it ends up on black making them all as broke as the jokes that they are.

Meanwhile Tommy keeps on getting flowered with gifts by his old woman/sugar mama (besides the sex...LOL.) Ryan finds this out and uses the old hag to convince Tommy to have her get the watch they were going to get for Belding for his birthday gift before they blew all of the cash for it. Obviously Tommy Dumbluca has to tell the old hag the watch is for him but he goes along with it. She goes ahead and buys it and just when shes about to give it to him Ryan tells her that Tommy got the chicken pox and that hed have to give it to Tommy himself.

The episode ends with Belding going to his room upset that no one remembered his birthday when all of a sudden he opens the door and the whole gang and some others yell "Suprise!" Just when they think theyre in the clear as far as the watch goes, the old haggy baggy wrinkled ass trick comes to the door to complain about the noise when she spots Tommy obviously without chicken pox. The hag snatches the watch back and Belding gives everyone a weeks worth of detention for lying. In the usual pointless SBTB ending, Screech microwaved about five bags of popcorn for reasons only people of his species know and the episode ends with the microwave exploding and popcorn flying everywhere.moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • Originally there was a scene where Tommy D suggests painting a picture of Mr. Belding for his birthday. When Tommy D shows everyone his painting it turns out to be just the words "Mr. B" painted in black (similar to the R.J. painting Tommy D made earlier). This segment was cut but the "Mr. B" painting can still be seen in the background at the end of the art class scene.

    • RJ's real name is Ronald Joseph.

  • NOTES (1)

    • This is another example of a "recycled" plot from the original Saved by the Bell series being used. This episode's plot is very similar to "Fake ID's" from the original series, in which Zack, Slater and Screech make phony ID cards in order to get into an over-18 club.
