  • Eric and Maria come up with a clothing stain remover for a class project and while it works excellent at first, in the end it leads to disastrous results.

The gang are assigned a class project in which they have to get into groups and form a product thats tested and to formulate a marketing plan to present to the class. Eric and Maria form one team while Ryan and Nicky form the other. Lost for ideas, one day Maria has a stain on her dress and throws it into a liquid contraption Eric had made and to their amazement the stain was gone. They decide, without doing any kinds of testing, that his is going to be their project. They present it in class using the teachers $200 jacket by pooring ink on it and within seconds having the stain dissapear. They both get A+'s and decide to branch out and sell the stain remover titled "Scrubbo" at $5 per bottle. The bottles sell like hotcakes at first and the cash is flowing in for the both of them. Within a few days though everyone starts noticing that the spot on the clothing where they put the "Scrubbo" is leaving see-through holes almost in an acid like fashion. The reason obviously being because the proper testing wasnt done on it. Since Belding was one of the suckers that bought it, he holds a student court with Eric and Maria on trial. In the end they are found guilty and have to return all of the money they made back to the consumers. Also a little community service by scrubbing tables at The Max. Ryan and Nickys project was the most hideous toolbelt contraption i have ever seen in my life. Its supposed to be a "all-in-one" toolbelt with everything stupid like keys, coins, pencils, pencil sharpeners, and even a nice little calculator...LOL all in one giagantic ugly belt. At the end though they make Nicky and Maria wear the belts as part of their punishment. The third and as usual least important plot of the episode was the Scratch and Beldong part. Screech is afraid of public speaking and accepts help from Belding on how to do it. The help consists of picturing Belding in his underwear to lessen his fear but instead backfires and makes him laugh hysterically. Another checkmark next to the list of dumbest ideas in the SBTB franchise having to do with Tweedle De and Tweedle Dumb.

The reason that i marked this episode as "They Did This One Already" is because there was a very early Original SBTB episode titled "Cream For A Day" where Zack and Screech come up with an anti-acne medication that works at first but backfires and turns everyone whos used its face maroon for 24 hours. Also in that episode they didnt test it on anything and just put it out on the market just like in this episode. All in all this wasnt a terrible episode but any avid SBTB fanatic could tell that they were running out of plot ideas at this point in the shows history.moreless
