  • Slater wants Kelly badly.

    9.0
This episode was great, reminds me of season 1, looks like Slater isn't so much over Kelly when he tries to get her back, and he does something clever & crazy just like the season 1 episodes. Jessie is going on a blind date, she really likes the guy until she finds out he's short. Out of all the people, I would of thought Jessie would not have this issue. But she seems to get over it. Screech is Zack, Zack has out done himself this time. A cringe-worthy moment is when Penny was telling Kelly about Zack. I thought they were going to break up but luckily tehy didn't. A good episode.moreless
  • zack agrees to take belding's niece on a date but gets screech to do it; size matters for jessie

    9.8
the niece thing was pretty funny with zack of course always having screech to do his dirty work for him..spoiler..and screech being the lackey agrees and goes out on the date with beldings niece while zack had his other social engagement, kellys party..i think the funniest part of the whole ep was jessie with her height consciousness..i mean that was just plain silly but then at the same time im hard on myself for being short lol..i worry if the guys too tall..but anyways..i love when they have their little daydream sequences and shes just growing and growing that was funny and a bit ridiculous at the same time..who cares about height..if u like the guy u like thw guymoreless
  • Brett is too short. (Spoilers)

    7.6
Although, this episode made me quite angry since I'm shorter than the average male, I did find this episode to be well written, though. Classic Saved By the Bell plot. Zack is going to a party, and he has to go out with the principal's niece or else he would be suspended. Well, the good thing is, the niece won't recognize him unless he has a red rose. So, Screech will pretend he's Zack just by having the red rose. How dumb of the principal to be so stupid! Hah.

The plot was well written. While the stuff is going on, Kelly is hooked up with a blind date. But her blind date, Brett, is shorter than her. She gets angry and decides to call off the date, but then decides to forgive him because she was acting too mean. I like this idea, because this could teach kids who watch the show to not be so mean to short people.

This episode was funny, and got me to be clenching my fist at times. Well, not really. But it was exciting like many of the Saved by the Bell episodes. Classic "Zack gets in trouble" plot, except it doesn't have that spark the other Saved by the Bell episodes. I can't wait to buy the Season One box set. DVDs of course..moreless

    • Mr. Belding: Penny will meet you at the mall at seven.
      Zack: Why at the mall?
Mr. Belding: Because I don't want you to know where I live.
      Zack: That's understandable, sir.

    • Mr. Belding: (He just signed Zack's detention paper) So, this makes nine, and 10 is...
      Zack: Don't say it, sir.
Mr. Belding: That's right, suspension! It's gonna happen, Morris.
Zack: Not until cows give Pepsi, sir.

    • Mr. Belding: Another afternoon in detention, number nine in the series...
Zack: No, I think that's number eight.
Mr. Belding: No, number eight was when you sold the school to the Japanese.
Zack: Ahh...What was wrong with Honda High School?

    • Jessie: Is it me or is it hot in here?
      Lisa: (in disgust) It's you!

    • Screech: Do I look that desperate for a date?
(looks into mirror, then back at Zack)
Screech: What time do I pick her up?

    • Penny: Zack is so hot, he makes my teeth sweat!

    • Zack: What's with the wig?
Screech: Oh, do you like it? It gives me that extra bit of...Zackosity.
Zack: I'm gonna kick your Zackosity if you don't take Penny and get lost!

    • At the Max Jessie says, "Lisa thinks Arsenio Hall is where the Lakers play." Arsenio Hall, born on February 12, 1955, is a comedian, talk show host, and actor. In 1988, he costarred in the comedy film Coming to America with Eddie Murphy.
From 1989 through 1994, he hosted The Arsenio Hall Show. The show was known for the audience's shouting "Whoof Whoof Whoof" while pumping their fists.

    • Zack is hosting a dating game show in Jessie's dream. This is an allusion to The Dating Game. The Dating Game was an ABC television show that first aired on December 20, 1965. ABC dropped the show in 1973, but it resurfaced in several syndicated versions (1973-1974 as The New Dating Game, 1978-1980, 1986-1989, and 1996-1999).

    • The three bachelors are references to Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, and Donald Trump. Freddy Krueger is a fictional character in the A Nightmare on Elm Street series. Donald Trump is a real person and he is a self-made billionaire.
