What happened to the Saved by the Bell episodes that featured Ms. Bliss?

I know that the earlier show was called Saved by the Bell as well. But the Saved by the Bell on this site does not mention Ms. Bliss, Mikey, and more that I happen to see sometimes on TBS in the morning. So please enlighten me.

Yeah now in syndication it's called "Saved by the Bell" but it's orginal name was "Good Morning, Miss Bliss" and here is the link ---> http://www.tv.com/good-morning-miss-bliss/show/2121/summary.html?q=good%20morning%20miss%20bliss&tag=search_results;title;0

    Hope that helps!

    (p.s. I found that out my clicking on Mark-Paul Gosselaar's name ;-) )

Me too. I think they were boring because there is nothing funny or interesting about a know it all teacher.

When I watched the show when I was little, I never used to like the Miss Bliss episodes that much. In fact, back then I didn't know that they had been a whole new series, or even that it was set in a different school--JFK Junior High in Indianapolis, to be exact. I just thought it was Bayside with a couple different students than all the other episodes. I actually thought of them as the "Little Bayside" episodes, since, whenever they showed the outside of the school, it looked much smaller than Bayside did.

However, I've recently grown to appreciate these episodes, especially since there's so few of them--it makes them seem more special. When TBS recently showed them, I got to see almost all of them There's 13 total, plus a pilot, I think. There's a couple that I think I've never seen, including the first one, "Summer Love."

Miss Bliss was cool, but Mikey and Nikki were kind of annoying--especially Mikey. The one teacher, Tina Palladrino, was kind of funny, but she could get annoying. I never really liked Milo. All in all, I liked these episodes, but I am glad that they changed the show to the Saved by the Bell we know and love.

On YouTube, someone uploaded the original Good Morning, Miss Bliss opening credits (the ones that actually says "Good Morning Miss Bliss," rather than the syndicated ones that say "Saved by the Bell"). Click here to see it. It's completely different than the SBTB opening, with a very different theme song. I found it very interesting to see, since I've never seen it on TV.

One thing that always struck me as weird was does six families pick up and move all at the same time? Zack, Screech, Lisa, and Mr. B were cast members so they obviously moved from Indiana to California. Also, Zack makes numerous refrences to being childhood friends with Jessie and Kelly. Well, considering how "GM,MB" didn't do anywhere as well as "SbtB," maybe it was for the best to just ignore this continuity flaw or I'm just thinking too much into it.

It wasn't my favorite show, but it was still somewhat entertaining to watch every now and then.

I dont think that trying to follow a timeline with SBTB is the best thing to do. I mean at one point Kelly and Jesse leave the show and are replaced by tori. I think the Miss Bliss Episodes were interesting but you can see why the Disney channel canceled the show.

I actually saw the miss bliss eps before SBTB I don't relate them to the saved by the bell time lime/cannon at all. I'd still like to have them on DVD just so I can round out my collection.

I think that ended when they graudated to High School. The ones with Ms. Bliss were 8th grade.

I enjoyed these episodes very much.

I did find Mikey and Nikki very annoying at times - but I enjoyed the episodes overall. Like someone mentioned, I think they only made 13 of these, so they are sort of gems. I actually enjoyed Haley Mills as Ms. Bliss.

I never realized that it took place in Indiana though! It looks like it is the exact same set and everything. They had direction mentions or "props" that indicated it's suppose to be in Indiana? I need to be on the lookout for those!

I guess I'm the only one but I LOVED that show. I can't belive they took out Nikki cause she was my favorite. She had a sense of self worth, and wasn't all girly. The new ones I like too, but there so different and unrealistic.
