In addition to Mrs. Billingham offering Slater a football scholarship to go to Stansbury, he mentions he was going to be offered a car to go to Stansbury as well. Someone should tell Mrs. Billingham that bribes like a new car are in violation of NCAA rules.
Heather, then Kelly, then Heather's boyfriend Robert knock on Zack's bedroom door. It'd make more sense for Zack to greet them at the entrance to the house.
During the scene in Belding's office, watch Zack as he tries hard not to laugh at James.
Slater is offered an athletic scholarship to Stansbury for football. However, wouldn't it have made more sense for the scholarship to have been for wrestling? While it was mentioned once or twice that Slater played football, wrestling was the sport most commonly mentioned for Slater. In fact it was one of the rare consistencies on the show!
Jessie: Ms. Billingham, is the only reason you now want me is because Harvard wants me, too?
Billingham: Well, Ms. Spano, we are the "Harvard of the West."
Jessie: Well Ms. Billingham, thanks, but no thanks. If Stansbury is that hypocritical, then they'll just have to do without Jessica Spano.
Slater: AND, without A.C. Slater.
Kelly: AND, it's Stansbury's loss!
Screech: Do you have any brochures I can look at, so I--- (Kelly yanks him by the collar)
(After Heather's boyfriend shows up at Zack's room)
Zack: This is terrible! The S.A.Ts are ruining my life! She only wants me for my mind!
Jessie: James, is that you?
James: No, Jessie, it's not.
Zack: Wow, Belding was right, this test is important for my future. Who is that great-looking girl over there?
Slater: (to himself) All right, concentrate Slater, CONCENTRATE! How can I concentrate? I'm starving! I only had four Twinkies and a box of Ding-Dongs for breakfast!
Here are everybody's SAT scores: Screech-1220. Kelly-1100. Lisa-1140. Slater-1050. Zack-1502. Jessie-1205.
On April 26th, 2005, this episode had a rerun on TBS. It is ironic that it occurred on this date because the day before, the results of testing with a modified SAT were released. Over 100 people had gotten perfect scores on the new test.
This marks the second and final appearance of James played by Mark Blankfield in Saved by the Bell. The star and his character would return for Saved by the Bell: The New Class, where, ironically, he was only in two episodes also.
