While trying to catch a killer who has been hurting women, Grace has trouble with a new partner.
  • Good but predictable

I like the actors and their work, but whoever is in charge of the camera work needs to cut out the shakycam. Gosh, I miss stable images. Who is behind the cinerama nausea? Anyway, aside from the miserable video quality, the episode was passable. The new partner bonding dance was predictable, though. Nothing out of the ordinary or novel.

I was somewhat amused at the quick draw fight scene. In freeze frame, one can see that Grace had her eyes closed, and the gun jerked too much. Obviously, she hasn't had much training with pistol shooting. Not credible. The FX shots with the tight grouping of bullet hits on the bad guy were incongruous to say the least.

I like Ricci, and hope she stays on. Her acting skills are phenomenal and add a bright spot to the overall quality of the episode.moreless
