EDIT
Wolver, the Flash
AIRED:

This episode is an homage by the Scan2Go creators and writers to "Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back." When Shiro's one person space craft ends up in the mud, it leads Team J.E.T. and Shiro down a common path and allows Mater Hipopo to show the viewers a new power.

    • TRIVIA (1)

    • QUOTES (2)

    • NOTES (2)

      • The first showing of this episode in Italy was on September 20, 2011 on TV channel K2. The Italian title is "Grazie Shiro".

      • The first showing of this episode was in Korea on January 24, 2011 on the SBS network. The Korean title is 「섬광의울버」, which transliterates using MCT to "Seomgwang-uiulbeo".

    • ALLUSIONS (2)

      • PEL says "There can only be one," at the end of the episode in response to Tsukikage driving the Team J.E.T. space bus.  This is an allusion to the Highlander movies and TV series.

      • This episode has several allusions to Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, with Master Hipopo, as Yoda.  Team J.E.T. and Shiro, at various times, represents Luke.  It starts with Shiro's one man space craft (shaped much like Luke's craft) getting stuck in the mud.  We see where Team J.E.T. tries and fails to get it out of the mud.  At the end, we see where Master Hipopo uses a force to levitate the craft out of the mud, plus worries about the future of Shiro.
