    • TRIVIA (5)

      • "Itoko", aside from being the character's name, also means "cousin" in Japanese. Yakumo is taken aback by Harima's declaration that she is "his itoko", assuming some sort of romantic possession, while he means to say that they are cousins.

      • Harima calls Yakumo an "Esupaa" (esper in the Funimation dub), which is how the Japanese refer to people with ESP (extra sensory perceptions).

      • Yakumo confuses Itoko, Harima's cousin, for being his "string." In Japanese, the pronunciation for "cousin" and "string" sound alike.

      • When the captain first gives Harima the fish-bone pen, the pen is big. Later, when Harima uses it, the pen's size is smaller than it was before.

      • The deadline of the rookie manga artist contest is October 27.
