Episode Summary

Go! Birth of Girls’ Basketball Team!: Yagami High School has some great basketball players like Megumi and Asou. Unfortunately, the school doesn’t have a girls’ basketball team. So, a first-year student by the name of Tawaraya Satsuki proposes to start one, with Tae as the advisor. After gathering a team of potentially-good female b-ball players, the girls’ basketball team has officially been formed!

Go! Please Teach Me, Senpai: After a day of practice, the team decides to eat dinner at Asou’s place, which also happens to be a Chinese restaurant. For some reason, Satsuki arrives casually late. Could this have something to do with her crush on Asou?

Go! The Swing of Tears...: While the rest of the basketball team practices, Tae puts the useless Tenma on “special training”. Knowing in her heart that the team does not need her, Tenma continues to lie to herself and to Yakumo that she’s still considered a member of the team. But Tenma is not alone in the cold world of basketball...

    • ALLUSIONS (1)

      • Tae: "Sonko"
When talking to Satsuki, Tae makes a quote from an essay by Sonshi. However, like Tenma did in the first episode, Tae misreads his name as "Sonko", a girl's name. Again, like Tenma, Tae thinks that "Sonshi" is a woman. Sonshi (a.k.a. Sun-Tze) is the author of The Art of War. Apparently, Tenma still thinks that Sonshi is a woman.
