Must have seen this episode in reruns because I was only 2 years old when it ran new. One of the first TV stories to send my imagination off on "what if" explorations of fantastic devices. I can recall the characters trying to cut into the mysterious suitcase to no avail. When they discovered a plug on the side of the case and used it for essentially limitless energy they suspected it was of alien origin. Where the stranger came from and what became of him was left a mystery. This show was the genesis for my love of science fiction.moreless
