Episode Summary

EDIT

The gang finally follows the trail to find the hidden treasure, but they didn't think The Freak would go after them. On the other hand, many truths are revealed, including the goal of Professor Pericles and the true identity of Fred's parents. And as if that were not enough, the gang faces a big problem when the parents get angry due to the behavior of their kids. And just when the mystery of the town is at its highest level, does this mean the end of the gang or the beginning of a new problem?

  • A mystery solved... yet, this is far from being over...

I do believe that by fearing the Freak is why this thing started in the first place. Even though this isn't the best episode of the first season, I do believe that its one of those episodes that changes the way you look at things. The Freak of Crystal Cove is as creepy as you can get. From the way he moves to the way he talks, it's impossible not to admit that he is clearly the most diabolical villain in the series so far, and yet, he's also the most tragic of them all. We have 2 pieces of the Disk found, but now we have to find the other 4 pieces. Unfortunately, with Fred going after his real parents, Shaggy being sent to a military school and Scooby to a farm, not to mention that Daphne is angry with Velma because she did not tell them about Angel's true identity, the gang is no longer a team, it seems Professor Pericles is free to do whatever he wants. Can Scooby find a way to bring the gang back together, so they can finish what they started? I sure hope so, because if not, then Pericles will have won, and the gang will be no more. 10 out of 10!moreless
