At the prom, two of the dancers look like members of Hanna-Barbera's cartoon The Impossibles in civilian clothes: Coilman (short, tubby, with blond Beatle-cut hair) and Multiman (tall, with a mop of orange hair covering his eyes.
Features a flashback with new animation to Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? episode "Jeepers, It's The Creeper". Alice Carlswell is also the daughter of Mr. Carswell who was the Creeper. Actually, Mr. Carswell doesn't have any daughters. Alice was just paid by Mr. E to trick people into thinking she was Carswell's daughter.
When Scooby goes to the kitchen to grab a sandwich, you see that there is a picture of Vincent Van Ghoul, signed by himself.
During the flashback sequence regarding the case of the Creeper, if you pay attention, you will notice that the Creeper's outfit is purple. This is an animation error, because in its original appearance, his suit is dark green.
Fred: Hey Daph, are you coming?
Daphne: I'm gonna walk, too. Besides, I wanna do some research on those kids who disappeared in the Crystal Cove caves. The ones Mr. E warned us about. I hate going home...clueless. (humphs and walks off-screen as Fred "cluelessly" watches her walk away)
Daphne: Fred Jones, do you like this girl?
Fred: Wow, look at the time. (points at his wrist)
Daphne: You're not wearing a watch, Freddy.
Fred: Oh. Well, I better go find one, then.
Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!
When the gang is looking at the yearbook page for Mystery Incorporated, the group shot looks just like the one in the opening to the original Scooby-Doo cartoon.
The Mysteries Five
When the gang is at the instruments, it's a reference to their original design as a band.
The character of Alice May resembles Gwen Stacy (she even wears the same clothes that Gwen did on her first appearance), Spider-Man's first girlfriend, who got killed when the Green Goblin threw her off a bridge, and Spider-Man was not able to save her.
