The Giggling Green Ghost (or more commonly known as The Green Ghost) from the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! episode "A Night of Fright is No Delight" makes a cameo appearance in the arcade game Sheriff Stone and Mayor Nettles are playing.
Professor Pericles: It is no mystery at all. Krampus, dear Krampus. I had such fond memories of Krampus from when I was just a hatchling. I can still hear the sound of Krampus visiting bad children on a cold winter night. The screams of fear and terror. Mmm, so soothing. (Brad and Judy creep out by Professor Pericles' talk on Krampus)
Brad: (Brad and Judy open the back of the Mystery Machine to see security lasers around the suitcase) That's our boy.
Judy: This is gonna take longer than we thought.
Brad: A lot longer.
Judy: Yes, a lot longer. Thank you, Brad.
Brad: You're welcome, Judy.
Ricky Owens: It's nice taken the old Enigma Engine out for a little dark evil action.
Judy: (Judy calling Ricky Owens) Ricky, it's Brad.
Brad: And Judy.
Ricky Owens: Go ahead, you two.
Judy: Tell Professor Pericles the rest of the Planispheric Disk-
Brad: Is ours for the taking.
The Old Abandoned Haunted Doll Factory in which Scooby and the gang catch Krampus is most likely a hint on the 2002 film Scooby-Doo, where the gang catches the Luna Ghost in a similar location.
Besides Mary Anne Gleardan, several of the villains the gang had unmasked earlier in the series make cameos in the prison. Among the villains seen are Grady Gator, Alice May, Grandma Moonbeam, ex-Mayor Fred Jones, Sr., Ernesto and Dan Fluunk.
Sheriff Bronson says he looks like a smelly old wizard from Center Earth. The name is a common joke to Middle Earth from "The Lord of the Rings".
The House of the Dead
The arcade videogame that Sheriff Stone and Mayor Nettles are playing at the arcade, Home of the Hastily Demised is a parody to the light gun arcade game franchise The House of the Dead.
Dance Dance Revolution
The arcade videogame Prance Prance Evilution is an obvious parody of the arcade videogame Dance Dance Revolution.
Despicable Me
The elevator that leads to Mr. E's vault bears a strong resemblance to the elevator used by Gru, the main character of the movie Despicable Me, in order to get to his laboratory.
