Just before the gang stop at the fortune teller, Fred's collar is white, but then when they go in, it's back to normal colour.
The message Daphne found about the jewels and King Tut was supposedly written in 1668 but how can someone in 1668 know about King Tut? King Tut's tomb was found and became well-known in 1922 almost 300 years later.
Velma doesn't seem the least bit interested in retrieving her lost pair of glasses, even though eye glasses can run pretty expensive!
When helping Daphne out of the dungeon with a rope, Scooby sees the Vampire and uses the rope to trip him by wrapping it around his feet, even though Shaggy still seems to be holding it to help Daphne out, even though there is no rope in his hands after Daphne is out. It seems that there was one rope, then two, then back to one rope once more!
Daphne must have had time to change her lipstick color before the police showed up, even though there was no time! She went for a bit pinker than her usual color.
When Shaggy and Scooby are playing around in the laboratory, Scooby lays down on one of the operating tables. The straps are hanging from the sides of the table, but when we see Scooby again, the straps are buckled.
During the scene in which "Dracula" is running toward his coffin, you can see that there is a hole in the tapestry, where his head fits through. However, toward the end of this episode, when he is running with the tapestry and Scooby is chasing him, the tapestry is in one piece, with no signs of rips or tears.
When Shaggy and Scooby pull down the tapestry to trap "Dracula" you can see that the side of the tapestry that is facing Shaggy and Scooby has jewels sewn into it. However, when "Dracula" crashes into it, that same side is devoid of jewels and is replaced with a family crest. When "Dracula" is seen running toward the coffin a few moments later, the tapestry is plain.
Big Bob Oakley the Actor: Yes, and I'd have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for these blasted kids and their dog!
Dracula: You haven't escaped me yet!
Shaggy: Speaking of escaping, let's get out of here!
Velma: (without her glasses, referring to the torture chamber) It must be the Play Room. There's so many interesting toys.
Shaggy: What a pad for ghosts! (referring to the castle) Well, we can't get in. Let's go home.
The Wolfman appears in Scooby Doo Night of 100 Frights.
Villian: Big Bob Oakley The Actor
Reason: He was frightening people away from the castle so he could search for the treasure.
This episode is an ode to the three famous Universal movie monsters of the 1930s and the 1940s: Count Dracula, the Wolf Man and the Frankenstein monster.
Loosely adapted into the comic book story "The Ghosts Of Grimstone Castle" (Gold Key issue #10, February 1972).
This is the first episode to have more than one ghost or villain.
