    I'm not sure what epi. they tell us, but I think he's a Great Dane.

    It might have been in Decoy for a Dognapper where they said Scooby was a Great Dane.

    I think he's a Great Dane because if you look at a Great Dane in real life, you can see that Scoob has a lot of Great Dane features like the pointed ears (although not all Great Danes have pointed ears some do). When he stands on his hind legs, he is as tall as Shaggy, and real life Great Danes are tall too.
