  • Good Start to Season 2

I am quite fond of this episode and I think that it was a much better Season Debut than "What a Night for a Knight" but with that being said I have to say that it is probably the weakest episode of season 2! The Plot is obviously a play on the famous tale "Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde" and so is solid. The Setting is...to be honest pretty slack. The Manor was not very memorable and did not have any great detail to it. The Ghost itself was okay, not great but it definitely was intriguing and showed a completely contrasting version of "Hyde" The best part for me was the neat clues found throughout the ep. and the clever twist at the end. Not a fantastic episode but definitely a good enough start to a great season. 8/10 :Dmoreless

  • TRIVIA (4)

    • Shaggy and Scooby, sliding down a bannister, collide into Velma and all three barrel down a laundry chute to the bottom. When asked by Fred if she's all right, Velma says "Couldn't be better." Wouldn't her back would have been fractured in seven ways to Sunday after that collision?

    • When Stephanianna Christopherson left the show to get married, Heather North's roommate told her to go audition for Daphne. Her roommate was none other than Velma's Nicole Jaffe. Heather was immediately hired.

    • There can be no direct descendent of Dr. Jekyll because at the end of the famous tale, Jekyll kills himself so Hyde will die as well.

    • When the gang first reaches the house, they find the lab in the basement. But during the chase song sequence, Scooby pushes Shaggy, who's strapped down on a gurney, out of the lab and DOWN a flight of stairs- presumably to the main floor.
