Freddy: Do you think that twenty was planned to throw us off?
Freddy: To make us think nothing fishy was going on in the theatre.
Daphne: And we would never think of going back.
Velma: I get it. But now what do we do?
Freddy: We go back.
Fred: It...it...he's a puppet, too!
Shaggy: That's all for me fans.
Shaggy: What was that?
Velma: I don't like looking for clues anymore.
Velma: He's gone!
Daphne: It must have been our imagination.
Shaggy: Well that was the first time I ever heard mine.
(Scooby sees the man in the black cape is gone.)
Scooby: There were two of you!
Shaggy: Two of me? I don't get it, Scoob.
Scooby: Give them that. (Scooby grabs the costume and shows Shaggy what he's trying to say) Two of you.
Shaggy: You saw somebody else dressed like me? Let's get out of here!
Villian: Mr. Pietro (a.k.a. Pop the doorman)
Reason: He was scaring people away from his counterfeiting operation.
Adapted into the comic book story "One Spook Too Many" (Gold Key issue #3, September 1970).
A scenery wall falls, narrowly missing Shaggy, but it's gone when we see him from a different angle.
Daphne: Look, Scooby has a dog puppet.
Velma: So this is the canine Mata Hari.
The Mata Hari was a woman who reinvented herself as a princess in the early twentieth century and was known for her mystique and powers of seduction. She was executed for rumors of her being a spy.
