Goof: Like the previous episode, Rottens captain Mumbly is again renamed Muttley, the name of Dick Dastardly's sidekick in The Wacky Races.
Goof: Daws Butler, who voiced many of the characters in this series, sort of screwed up here. In the first event, he voiced Hokey Wolf, but if you listen closely in the second event, he still uses his Hokey Wolf voice as Wally Gator in the second event.
Goof: It was said that Dread and Mumbly of the Rottens used a vacuum device to draw the other team rockets toward them, but it was really a magnetic device. A real vacuum would have been ineffective considering space is a vacuum and the Moon has no atmosphere.
Goof: QuickDraw McGraw's name wasn't announced like the others for the Dog Sled Race. Likely an audio problem.
Goof: For some unusual reason, Rottens team captain Mumbly was renamed Muttley in this episode. But the names are for two distinctly different characters. The latter was Dick Dastardly's sidekick in The Wacky Races and one of its spinoff shows, Dastardly and Muttley in their Flying Machines.
Goof: Mildew Wolf is usually seen with 4 fingers, but he's holding up five when the Rottens are assessed their first 5-point penalty in the Antique Airplane Distance contest.
Goofs: In the Rescue the Mermaid event, the competitors are wearing just goggles, which are far from the full scuba gear needed to breathe underwater. Cindy Bear, playing the mermaid, is wearing no gear whatsoever. So how could she breathe? Also here, in some shots prior and after the event, Dinky Dalton seems to be as large as Grape Ape. And near the end of the event, Captain Caveman's team jersey is missing before it reappears.
Goof: The medals award podium at the end of this episode is incorrectly designed. Though the top part correctly has the symbol of the gold medal below, the symbols of the silver and bronze medals are below the wrong levels, with the bottom part bearing the symbol of the silver medal and the middle bearing the symbol of the bronze.
Goof: The sleeves of Snooper's trenchcoat briefly disappear during the scavenger hunt event.
Goof: In the opening preview of locales and events, Scooby-Dum is seen on a unicycle, but his fur is colored brown like his cousin's Scooby-Doo.
Goof: Another medal screw-up occurs here. But it's not the Rottens this time! They actually do win the gold for the first time! Again, it's the silver and bronze medals being awarded to the wrong teams. Yogi team members Pixie, Dixie, and Jinks are wearing the silver medals despite their team finishing third and the Teen Angels of the second-place Scoobys team are wearing the bronze. Just what is going on here?!?
Goof: When Dynomutt converts to helicopter mode during the Moose sled race, the "S" logo on his jersey is briefly seen backward.
Notice in the dog sled race, on the Scoobys team, Taffy was the lead puller with Brenda behind her and Dee Dee as the rear puller. After Orful Octopus of the Rottens yanked them backward, somehow Taffy and Brenda switched positions and the latter is riding up front when Captain Caveman pushes the sled from that point.
God only knows how Daisy Mayhem can be in any winter setting
in her skimpy clothes and no shoes on.
The same issue regarding the lack of winter clothes also applies to the Teen Angels. They dressed much more appropriately in a winter episode of their own series with Captain Caveman, but here, other than their regular clothes, they wore only scarves and earmuffs.
Goof: Mumbly didn't extend the rockets from his box saddle until nearly the end of the Burro Race. But they were seen when he was at the start line.
Goof: After they stopped the Rottens from capturing the Leprechaun, when Grape Ape and Blue Falcon are first seen together, the latter's S-insignia on his jersey is colored blue.
Goof: When several of the All-Stars are observing Dinky Dalton when he makes his drive, the Great Fondoo's Magic Rabbit's rose-colored blazer is colored white.
Goof: How is it that Doggie Daddy is wearing the gold medal when he didn't compete in any of the events in this episode?
Goof: The Scoobys' boat was split in half after their failed attempt to make it up the waterfall in the Jungle Boat Race. But when they returned to the starting line, it was intact.
