It's the end of the road folks. Even though I thought that the last series was the best for a few years ABC have cancelled it.

Should've went out on it's own terms in Season 8 instead of prolonging the series as the humor had gotten rather bland and a little stale.

This season should have never happened. It ended on the perfect note when JD left the hospital last season. Should've stayed that way, but oh well. The show's been put out of its misery now... like Heroes.

Stop referring to Med School as Scrubs. It was a spin off, and tv.com should be acknowledging that.

I wish it would have ended in season 8. But, really, it did for me. I didn't watch the new one.

Spinoff or not, "Med School" was a big mistake. There was no focus or depth. The familiar characters had been exhausted into caricatures of their past selves and the "newbies" just weren't that interesting.

The last ep wasn't real finale.

I agree that Season 9 of Scrubs isn't Scrubs anymore.

It was truly over in that actual final episode when J.D left Sacred Heart.

In my opinion, season 8 was the final, and season 9, or 'Med School' was just for closure. That's how I took it. I liked moments of the season, but it was still probably the worst. However, anything Scrubs that is put out, I would watch.

Disagree. Although not perfect, it was definetely worth a try. Many shows aren't perfect right out of the gate. But this one had a decent setup, with promising new cast members (and I think the success of Eliza Coupe and James Franco's brother proves that ABC made a missed out on something). I think if it would have been brought back they probably would have been able to fine tune it enough, bringing in more cast members. At the very least I think the show deserved to get picked up for the back nine.

Exactly. It literally is a spinoff. The people behind the show have declared that. Even the title in the credits says Scrubs: Med School. Scrubs ended with the episode My Finale, which wrapped it up perfectly. The only reason why its constantly referred to as Scrubs season 9 is for marketing reasons. They (ABC) thought calling it Scrubs season 9 would sell people on it more and refused to air it as anything but Scrubs. People should note that and realize that Bill Lawrence ended Scrubs in season 8 and did not ruin the legacy of the show because season 9 isn't even the same show.
