Turk and Dr. Cox go to great lengths to get J.D. out of the running of becoming number one doctor on the website. Though Elliot boasts that through private practice she gets to get to know her patients, nobody seems to care. Carla is amazed at how the Janitor was able to score such an attractive girlfriend. The doctors are improving their services to get a higher ranking on a website and although J.D. appears nonchalant initially, he is elated when he is ranked #1.

I've got to agree. I don't know why, I just don't have high hopes. Any guest stars showing up on this one?

I wouldn't be suprised to see one, but I'm not sure who it would be, probably no one big. All I know is that Doug is back, and that will be something I'm looking forward to. I'm interested to see when/if they'll bring back Sean and what purpose he'll serve. I would assume it'll be something to do with JD and Elliot. It also would've been funny to bring him and Danni (Tara Reid) back as a couple, considering the last time we saw them, they were leaving Turk/Carla's wedding reception together - and JD was telling Elliot, "He can't leave with her, she says thank you the naughty way!" But considering there's all that press going around about BL saying she was the show's least favorite guest star, I'm doubting that'll happen.

Turk and Cox actually working together could be an interesting storyline, considering their inability to do so in the past.

Glad to hear we'll have another medical storyline, but i'm not sure how it'll tie into the overall theme of the episode. Haven't they done the whole Elliot/patient/suicide storyline before.

I miss Seasons 1,2 where JD/patient interactions consisted of him making really bad jokes and then doing that little laugh/chuckle thing.

This sounds like an interesting episode, but here's my problem with it:

In "My Case Study" (one of my favourite episodes), JD resists entering Kelso's case study competition in order to gain Cox's approval but is elated when he wins.

The rate-your-doctor plot sounds very similar.

However, I'm reserving judgment until I see it. For all I know, the similarity is there in order to demonstrate growth on JD's part since season 2.

in my case study it was optional and that was about trying to have to coolest patient this one is about being the most carring doctor so Cox will be in it aswell i guess they are kinda similar but not to much

    I sort of agree.

It really bugs me in the recent seasons when JD acts really cocky or insensitive to other characters, he tends to be funnier and more likable when he's self-deprecating. The Rate-Your-Doctor plot will most likely feature JD being cocky when he becomes number one, although the plot will probably involve him attempting not to be cocky or being told that he's being too cocky and realising the error of his ways, which has been done multiple times before; My Super Ego, My Ocardial Infarction etc. Ultimately, the plan will be to show him learning not to be cocky to show how he's progressed, but before that he will probably end up being cocky and any cockiness will still end up bugging me because they could just make him not cocky without going to the trouble ofhaving to learn a lesson about not being cocky that he's already learnt several times before.

How many times did I just use the word "cocky"? I was shooting for ten.

Enough times to make me want to gouge out my eyeballs with a blunt object. Anyways, I don't think the focus will be JD being/not being cocky. How can you not be excited to see Cox and Turk ganging up on JD though?
