Shute: I mean I know you cannot tell me your name, but... It's not fair to just leave me hanging. (Captain Gundam's face cover opens) Huh? Never mind. You don't have to tell me anything. Captain Gundam: All right, Shute. My name is Captain Gundam... but keep it to yourself. Hmmm? Shute: Goodbye, Captain Gundam.

Dark Axis: The Dark Axis, it's weapons, leaders, and soldiers, are all based on the MSs and MAs of Zeon, the enemy from Mobile Suit Gundam.
Zakerello: The Zakerello Gate is a referce to the Zeon Mobile Armor MA-04X Zakrello from Mobile Suit Gundam.
Magnamusai: The Magnamusai and Komusai are references to the Musai-Class Light Cruiser from Mobile Suit Gundam.
Zako soldiers: The Zako soldiers are based off of Zakus from Mobile Suit Gundam, although made cuter, with their shoulder spikes sawed off.
Zapper Zaku: Zapper Zaku appears to be based off of the Zaku II from Mobile Suit Gundam, although a few liberties have been taken with his design.
Bagu-Bagu: Bagu-Bagu is a reference to Mobile Suit Gundam's MA-05 Bigro, with crab-like claws and insect wings added.
Mobile Citizens: The Moblie Citizens appear to be based off of GMs and Balls from Mobile Suit Gundam.
Captain Gundam: Captain Gundam appears to be a homage to the iconic RX-78-2 Gundam and Mobile Suit Gundam.
