Midget Submarine
AIRED:

While Mike is helping a friend test a new mini-submarine, the daughter of a Soviet scientist approaches him about rescuing her Father from behind the Iron Curtain. Mike turns her and the US government agent with her down flat. Later, though, Mike becomes a one man commando team, in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, when he boards an Eastern block ship. One additional issue is no one was able to tell her Father Mike is coming to spirit him to the West.

    • TRIVIA (3)

      • Goof: During the briefing Mike gets from Dr. Laszlo, the plan is for a fishing vessel to launch and retrieve the mini-sub. The US government agent makes it clear there can't be any visible US involvement. Yet, upon arrival at the location the crew of the ship is wearing US Navy uniforms, and the ship looks to be an US Navy cargo ship.

      • Goof: As Mike is heading to the ship there is a close-up of the mini-sub and you can make out two faces / people, when there should only have been one (Mike) on the way to get Dr. Wenzel. Located at about 16 minutes with commercials after leaving the American ship but before starting the deep decent.

      • Goof: When we see Mike get out of the water he should be wet. Yet, as he crosses the first part of the deck, he's completely dry even his feet. Later he walks barefoot through some water (reflection seen) before a closeup of his wet bare foot prints.
