The epsiode while smartly written for the most part didn't stick with any of the previous information given to viewers. It contradicted itself at every turn from Ford wearing a UEO uniform in flashbacks before the UEO even exsisted to the suggestion that these experiemtns happed after the UN resolution on Genetic Engineering. Accoriding to another episode only a handful of daggers survived and those that did were placed in jail.
The torture of the Dagger, Matt occured 30 years ago so that would make it in 2002 and the UEO never exsisted at that point to be able to do these experiments.
Continuity issues aside though it was a good episode that gave veiwers a rememberance of the good days with Bridger and Scheider. It also showed the evolution of the relationship between Bridger and Lucas perfectly as Lucas deals with growing up. Not one of my absolute favorites, but still a solid top twenty episode.
