  • Odd end to a good show

Second Chances got off to a pretty good start. It wasn't the most well-written show I'd ever seen by far, but it was a primetime soap and a pretty good one at that. I was always a big Connie Sellecca fan and Michelle Phillips was also on it and I was a big fan of hers from her Knots Landing days. It was also the first starring role for a relative unknown named Jennifer Lopez. The show seemed to be doing well but then an earthquake destroyed most of the sets and instead of rebuilding and continuing the show, CBS simply pulled the plug. I guess they just weren't that invested in this show.moreless
