I like Tim Watley, and Fred, the guy Elaine dates who forgets everything, except minor details...

but about the Bookman he is not the same guy who plays Joe at Joe's Fruit Store...the bookman is played by Phillip Baker Hall, and Joe is played by Leonard Termo..

One of the best things about Seinfeld was its excellent cast of characters (main, recurring, one-shot, you name 'em). Most shows find it hard to make their main characters as memorable as the recurring characters were in Seinfeld. They were all as neurotic as the main four and none of them was just one-dimensional or repetitive.

Returning to your question: if by minor characters you mean recurring characters, my favourite would have to be Newman. But if you mean characters who only made a single appearence, then I'd have to say Bookman.

Btw, who was everbody's least favourite minor character? Mine would have to be Mickey. Worst recurring character ever.

David Putty was so monotone and clueless it was hilarious. A true blockhead indeed.
