The Comeback is a good episode of a season which many, including myself, believe to have 'jumped the shark.' The plot for the comeback is a return to the style of earlier series, with the plot being driven more by the minutiae of everyday life than unrealistic plot devices.
The conclusion to the Elaine/ Kramer plot thread doesn't make much sense, but I'm not sure if I was watching a syndicated version of the show or not.
While still not up to the standards of classic Seinfeld such as The Contest and the whole of Series 6, The Comeback is memorable mostly for being a 'comeback' of good writing to post-LarryDavid Seinfeld.
