Elaine Marie Benes (not in pilot)
George Louis Costanza
Voice of Fight Referee (uncredited)
Once again, George mentions he has a brother, even though later in the series, it is established several times that he's an only child. The same thing has hapenned to Jerry and Elaine, mentioning unexisting sisters.
When Jerry decides to get his car into a garage because the fight starts in two minutes, he leaves the car door ajar yet when we cut back to it an instant later the door is closed.
When Kramer hits his head on the blinds in Jerry's apartment, he raises his left hand to his head. In the shot right after that, his right arm is in the air, not the left one.
When George gets out of the car to see who steals his parking space, he opens the door and is about half way out of the car when it cuts to the next shot inside. In this shot, he's still sittng there with his whole body in the car.
There is a continuity error on a scene where they show George and Elaine exiting the car on a long shot, then they do it again on the close-up.
George: Nobody drives like me. Nobody. I'm doing things in this car, you have no idea they're going on.
Jerry: I'm not saying anything, I'm putting it in the vault, I'm locking the vault. It's a vault!
Kramer: Oh, congratulations.
Maryedith: What for?
Kramer: Well, you're pregnant.
Kramer: You're not pregnant?
Maryedith: No, I'm not pregnant!
Kramer: Are you sure you're not pregnant?
Maryedith: Yes, I'm sure!
Kramer: That's weird.
Maryedith: Come on, Matthew.
Maryedith: Come on, Matthew!
(She starts to walk away with Matthew)
Kramer: I thought she was pregnant.
Mike: Hey, Jerry. Long time no see.
Jerry: Hey, Mike. (noticing George's fedora) Indiana.
George: You're gonna have to go to the bathroom!
Mike: You're gonna have to go to work!
George: I don't have a job!
Mike: Neither do I!
Mike: Hey, pal. You're not getting that space. I mean, I'll sleep in my car if I have to.
George: I'll die out here.
Kramer: What's going on?
Mike: Hey, will you come on down? This guy's in my space!
George: IT'S MY SPACE!
Sid: (to George) Why don't you start taking the bus?
Jerry: What did you do to my car?!
George: I couldn't help it! Elaine moved the mirror. I got discombobulated.
Elaine: Oh, like you've ever been "bobulated."
Kramer: You know, why didn't they ask me to go?
Jerry: I don't know. How am I supposed to know?
Kramer: What, they don't like me?
Jerry: I don't like you!
Elaine: Ouch, my cuticle!
George: You don't understand. A garage, I can't even pull in there. It's like going to a prostitute. Why should I pay, when if I apply myself, maybe I could get it for free?
George: I really think it looks good.
Elaine: Ten bucks, how can you go wrong?
George: All bald people look good in hats.
Elaine: You should have lived in the '20s and '30s, you know men wore hats all the time then.
George: What a bald paradise that must have been.
Kibitzer: Who are you?
Sid: Who am I? I know who I am. Do you know who you are?
Kramer: Because I'm like ice, buddy. When I don't like you, you've got problems.
Newman: Chaos--it reduces us to jungle law.
Due to syndication, an entire scene is missing on TBS:
George and a woman are talking as Newman approaches and asks if he can try on his new hat. George doesn't want the woman to see he's bald, so he refuses. The two argue and the woman insists nothing is wrong and to let Newman see it. George gets angry, and the woman leaves. Then, George removes his hat screaming, but we never find out if the woman saw that.
This happens right after Mike says to Newman "What are you asking this guy for?" (when he says this, he is on the left side of Newman), but before Newman puts the hat on (when he does it, Mike's on the right side of Newman). People will see that due to the missing scene, Newman will have the hat and will be on the other side in a second, making it seem like a mistake.
Since a good amount of the episode was filmed outside (with a live audience that could not hear the actors), the night effect is actually a matter of the actual time and not part of the script. Additionally, if you look closely around when Jerry is talking to Matthew (the little boy we would see later on in the series) you can see the change from day to night.
Seinfeld's college friend Mike Costanza, who served as a partial model of the character (and name) of George Costanza, appears as an angry truck driver in this episode.
When Jerry goes back up to tune into the fight, you can hear Larry David's voice doing the K.O. count.
Maryedith Burrell is reunited with Fridays stars Michael Richards and Larry David in this episode.
Jerry sees George wearing a fedora and calls him "Indiana." This is a reference to Raiders of the Lost Ark's Indiana Jones and his trademark fedora:
Mike: Hey, Jerry! Long time no see!
Jerry: Hi, Mike. (sees George in fedora) Indiana.
