Not a bad episode at all. George won't share his ATM code! Haha! Not even with Susan! Elaine talks to the guy she met at a friend's party, after he says, "Nice to meet you," because he couldn't remember meeting her. Then, he says he remembered that someone played Tic Tac Toe on the bathroom wall and that X won diagonally from top left to bottom right! But he couldn't remember Elaine, who he talked to for 10 minutes! Very good episode! Jerry Seinfeld is a genius! Susan and George aren't supposed to keep secrets! George wants to know about her cycle! Haha! Great episode!moreless

Never a dull moment when youy hang out with Jerry and his wacky friends. George won't reveal his ATM card, even in the closing credits when a man's life is in danger. Jerry is in line to pich for a dealership that later when up in flames, just because his foot keeps falling asleep. Cosmo Krammer got hold of a em, and becomes a genius of which direction that a fire truck is heading. Toward the end of the episode, he becomes a firefighter and rides in the back of the truck. A three stroylines all tied up in the end.moreless
  • George is the main focus of this episode...and he does not let us down.

    8.1
George struggles to find enough will power to tell anyone his secret code for his ATM card. He will not tell his fiancé, Jerry, or a man who is trapped in a ATM who must use his code to free himself from the burning building. He also gets stuck eating dinner with Peterman because he cannot come up with an excuse.

Meanwhile, Kramer has a solution to help the fire department speed up the arrival times to calls, Elaine goes out with a man only because he cannot remember her no matter how many times they meet, and Jerry (throughout the whole episode) deals with his leg falling asleep.

The whole situation with George is pretty funny. Elaine's plot was pretty weak, but still provided some humor. Jerry had some funny jokes with the leg falling asleep and Kramer on the fire truck was classic. Overall this was a good episode.....

I do not understand the trivia that people have listed for this show. The one user suggests that George should have made something up for what Bosco meant and they give suggestions for something he should have said. If these people would have realized earlier in the episode he choked when he and Jerry were in the restaurant together and could not come up with an excuse to avoid dinner with Peterman. This was a reoccurring theme throughout the whole show. He was off. That is what made it so funny. Any one of us would have been able to come up with an excuse to avoid dinner with a man who will talk your head off or to not give out the code to our ATM card, but the humor of the episode came from George's inability to do this.

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • From the outside, the restaurant where Jerry and George meet Peterman is the same restaurant as in Season 2's "The Chinese Restaurant," Hunan 5th Ave. However, the inside is completely different from the one shown in that episode.

    • Kramer is driving the rear end of the hook and ladder fire truck. A hook and ladder truck has a tractor and a trailer. The driver of the trailor (ladder)steers the back wheels to manuever through city streets. The one showed going down the street is a straight ladder truck (no trailer).

  • QUOTES (11)

    • George: (talking to Peterman's unconscious mother) I really should be getting back to my fiancé. We had this big fight yesterday and, well, she wants to know my secret code. I don't know, I can't tell her. The funny thing is, I would really love to tell someone because it's killing me. You want to know what it is? It's Bosco. You know the chocolate syrup. I love that stuff. I pour it in milk. It's my favorite drink.

    • Petermen: I'll tell the maitre'd it'll just be the three bulls.

    • George: I am not giving my code to anyone, for any reason!
Jerry: What if my life depended on it?
George: If you're in some situation where some fast cash will save your life, I'll give you the code.

    • Peterman: Mama, it's me, Jacobo, I'm here for you, mama.

    • George: Where are we gonna eat?
Jerry: We're gonna meet Elaine and Peterman at the Chinese place.
George: Peterman? Nobody mentioned anything about Peterman.
Jerry: Of course not, if I did, would you have gone?
      George: No way.
      Jerry: There you go.
George: I don't even know Peterman. How the hell am I gonna relax? I'm gonna have to be on all night. I don't like being on, Jerry, I would much rather be off.
      Jerry: Trust me, you're off.

    • Kramer: Well, you just joked yourself right out of that commercial, didn't you, munjamba.

    • George: I reached down… and there was nothing there!

    • Jerry: I gotta go down to Leapin' Larry's.
Kramer: Oh, so he took you back?
Jerry: Yeah, we straightened it out. All is forgiven.
Kramer: Well, you know the important thing is that you learned something.
      Jerry: No, I didn't.

    • George: Why does everything have to be 'us'? Is there no 'me' left? Why can't there be some things just for me? Is that so selfish?
Jerry: Actually, that's the definition of selfish.

    • Kramer: …you're a portly fellow… a bit long in the waistband? So what's your pleasure; is it the salty snacks you crave? No, no, no, no… your's is a sweet-tooth. Oh, you may stray, but you'll always return to your dark master: the cocoa-bean!

    • Peterman: You're obviously lying George, anyone can see that.

  • NOTES (2)

    • The external shots of the fire house in this episode are the same as the exterior shots in Ghostbusters. Exterior scenes of the Ghostbusters headquarters were filmed at the Hook and Ladder #8 Firehouse in the Tribeca section of New York City. Inside the firehouse are a Ghostbusters sign and photos taken with the cast and crew.

    • While trying to get the secret code out of George, Jerry says the line "sing it sister." He'll later use this line again in "The Dealership."
