  • You broke my heart!!

Full blown Carrieness. Carrie is at the height if neuroticness when she decides that she wants to get back together with Aiden. She makes Steve and Miranda go out with she and Aiden to size up the situation and spews out stories like a volcano. Why she would think that Aiden would want to get back together with her is beyond me since she crushed him so completely.

Miranda dates a guy who embodies the new American obsession with the butt. Charlotte stuns the whole gang with her sexual openness towards activites that not even Samantha is willing to try.

    Love all the outfits.moreless
  • Great episode! Carrie realizing how much she wants Aidan back and her actions afterward are classic Carrie! (From obsessing over an e-mail to her "faux calls" - it's all good) Miranda's encounters with "marathon man" were funny too but make sure to see thmoreless

The whole episode was funny from Carrie obsessing over Aiden to Samantha's plastic nipples to Miranda's "marathon man's" unusual sexual maneuvers. If you don't have access to "On Demand" then buy the DVDs (I have the entire series on DVD which came in really handy after Hurricane Wilma when we lost cable for almost three weeks.) On the episode previous to this one, Carrie and Miranda go to Steve and Aidan's new bar, Scout, which is when Carrie realized that she still had very strong feelings for Aidan. Carrie was playing "emotional Russian roulette" by calling Aidan but hanging up when his answering machine picked up. Miranda convinced her to sign up with AOL and then Carrie obsessed over the email she sent to him. (It was hysterical when his name showed up in the buddy list - she jumped out of her chair, ducked down and asked Miranda if he could see her!!! LOL) She started out with a long email (be sure to read it if you're able to pause the episode) but wound up with a simple "I miss you." She's counting the hours until he responds but finally calls him when he doesn't write back. He agrees to go out with her, Miranda and Steve for a casual get together. My favorite dialog in the show is when Carrie says to Miranda "His words said no but his actions said yes" and Miranda responds with "That is the defense envoked by date rapists." Great show!!!moreless

    • Carrie's original email to Aidan before she deleted it and simply wrote "I miss you":

Another big problem -- I'm surrounded by memories of you... in my apartment, on the street, that little Moroccan restaurant we ran into when it started pouring rain on us and you kissed me over the cous cous. (Rookie tactical mistake not to have a memory-free environment. Why did we have to go so many places?) Anyhow, I'm not holding out hope that you're going to change your mind about us. You probably have a new girlfriend now, or several new girlfriends, and I missed my window and I'll just have to live with that. I'm sure you feel like you can't trust me with your heart. But please know that I never meant to hurt you, and I would never do it again, because I know now (too little too late, or better late than never?) that what we had was real and rare and special, and the way it felt to kiss you is the way I always want to feel.

I hope you write me back, but if you don't, I understand. Just know that I'm thinking about you, and I miss you, and I'm still sleeping on your shoulder when I close my eyes at night.

      -Carrie
