Definatly Big! yea i know he hurt her thoughout the show but he always loved her and he was the BEST!

Personally, I thought the Alex character was just plain stupid. I think it would have been more dramatic or suspenseful if Carrie were actually with someone like Aiden and had to choose between Aiden and Big. Both were great and she loved both. Alex was just annoying and I never understood why the writers thought we would believe that they could be together. I just never bought that relationship.

So, to pick, I pick Big, but Aiden is a very close second. I also felt cheated that they didn't give the relationship with Berger enough of a chance - that relationship was more believable too.

Big... there's no question. Aidan wasn't free enough for Carrie, she would have suffocated (and very nearly did).

Alex was... icky. The relationship was a farce, in my eyes, a desperate attempt by Carrie for some closeness.

But Big. That was chemistry, baby.

I am happy that Carried eventually ended up with Big. But I have to say that I was rooting for Berger.

Maybe I wanted to see more from Ron Livingston but it felt as if he was gone way to quickly, and could have made a bigger impression.

Carrie and Big are one of those TV couples that she just knew were going to be together in the end like: Dr. Ross and Carol on ER; Ross and Rachel on Friends; etc.

If they didn't end up together there would have been a major outcry from the fans anyway.

Alek was nice but in the end they didn't have to much chemistry going on and he was just to busy.

Jack (Berger) just wasnt ready for someone as stable as Carrie.

Adian was suffocating her.

Carrie had good shemistry with John (Big) and he let her be free.

big! he was the one that always on carrie's mind and went back to him.. was a jerk at times but then made it up to her..

Aiden was cute and nice to her but too available and always there.. .. not playing hard to get at all..

alex.. creepy guy with a accent.. yea and when he hit her i got angry!he was a big jerk at the end too..

First of all, Big was great, but the relationship certainly wasnt very productive, not until the end. I totally loved Aiden but i think that he was way to good for Carrie, love Carrie, but way too good for her. As for Alex. he was way to cold, no emotion, not Carrie like at all.

I totally adored Adien, he was so in love
with and cared so much for her.

I love her and Big together because it is
thee relationship.

I think Aiden is much better for a stable
relationship.

But, I don't know if it was that Carrie didn't
want to get married, so much as she didnt want
to marry Aiden.

No matter what she says, she obviously didn't
love any one more than Big, and I think thats
what really ended it with Aiden.

I knew it couldn't work with Alex. I just knew it...I think like some of you said before, you couldn't believe Carrie would like someone like that.

Aiden I thought was good for her, but I think that Carrie was not the right girl for him

Burger...I have no idea he was not around long enough to really think about if he would have worked...

Big...this one was a for sure thing...yes he was a jerk to her a lot. However at the end he would always be the most romantic person ever. Last night I watched the episode where they all go to that designer's wedding. Big Goes but he would not sign the card, he wouldn't dance, he left during her poem, and he wanted to leave early. Total jerk, but then Carrie called him in it and she said what she wanted and he immediatly changed his mind and decided to stay. That is real love. So My answer is MOST definatly Big!

I liked Aiden a lot, he was good to Carrie...But BIG was something else Carrie really couldn't get over him no matter how many men came into her life, So yeah, I'm a sucker for romance so it's gotta be BIG!!!! And I'm just so glad they ended up the way they did!

I'm happy that Carrie ultimately ended up with Big. That's who she loved throughout, but I must say:

I loved Aiden. Loved, loved, loved him. I loved the way he loved Carrie, his understanding nature, his rugged good looks, everything. I also think Sarah Jessica Parker and John Corbett had a great, natural chemistry on screen. But he did suffocate her. He wasn't for her.

Big redeemed himself in the end.

Alex... ugh. Berger was funny and charming in the beginning, but he was too insecure for Ms. Bradshaw.
