Is it just me or does anyone else think that the second Sex and the City movie is just suicide? Possible spoilers if you haven't seen the first movie. Steve would never get on Miranda, the wedding was way too complicated, Charlotte's pregnancy was pointless. The only thing I really liked about the movie is that Sam felt like her life was revolving around a man and her struggle with that. I don't know if I'm glad that she broke up with him or not. I read somewhere about someone comparing it to sex with an ex and I have to agree. Does anyone else feel the same way that I do?

i agree. the should have just stopped with the first movie. the only reason i liked the first one was because it was sooo dramatic SJP did a good job of showing Carrie's pain and all but there was points where i was just like ok i get it lets keep the story going. and lines like "will i ever laugh again" drove me crazy. now they are too old i don't want to see a movie about 50 year old women sleeping around the city.

I think this subjects been done to death but yes I agree they shouldve stopped after the first one. They are beating a dead horse.

I agree. It has been beaten to death. I just thought I would get a better response this way, that's all.

I saw the trailer a few days ago and I gotta say the movie looks like it could be good. I really dont know. It could be either way; a really good sequel or definetely jumping the shark. I guess we wont know until May. What does everyone else think?

Nope, they're just sponging money off the success of the first one, it's like the Saw films....

Honestly, I didn't think the sequel was that bad.
