This episode was great. It seems very unlikely that all the storylines revolve around threesomes, but it is still entertaining, which makes it OK. The threesome reference with the dalmatians was cute. Miranda's sandbox dream with Carrie, Samantha, and Charlotte was funny. Then, she had another one where they make her sit in the front of a cab, and they all sit in the back. The X-Files fanatics seeking a Scully look-alike was hilarious. I loved Carrie's story about Little Kathy with magic cigarettes, which was her "idea" for a children's book when she met Barbara. Charlotte's threesome at the end was hilarious, as well as Miranda leaving the couple who really wanted the threesome.moreless
  • INTRESTING

This was again very intresting episode. I love the scene where Carrie is putting the tie to Big and he tells that he has had a threesome with his ex-wife. The look on Carries face when she hears it is priceless. But hey, who wouldn't be furious about something like that? "Buy the way I was married and we har threesome." P.s. Bigs ex-wife is very attractive and funn y. I woul be intiminated like Carrie. Poor Miranda feels discriminated when the other girls wouldn't "play;)" threesome with her. Luckily the couple who is looking for the queststar is willing to give Miranda a shot. Charlottes "boyfriend" is an ass. I knew all along that he just wanted a permission to have sex with an other woman. In Samanthas case there is the couple who is fighting with the marriageproblems and Samantha is trying to solve their problems after having slept with Ruths husband. Very INTRESTING... :D Why there isn't anything like this in my life?! ;)moreless
  • Threesomes

    7.9
They are the kiss of death for a happy couple, kinda like getting your spouses name tattooed on your body. It's just a bad idea all around.

Carrie felt the threesome pressure when she found out that Mr. big had been married. Samantha has an affair with a married man and gets sucked into marital drama. Charlotte gets seduced into a threesome with her current boyfriend and Miranda feels left out when none of the other ladies pick her for a hypothetical threesome.

The plotlines I liked were Samantha and Charlotte's because they are the opposite sides of the threesome spectrum and both are hilarious and mortifing.moreless
  • Carrie discovers not only that Mr. Big was once married. Meeting the ex-Mrs. Big, Carrie is disappointed to find her smart, sexy and successful. Charlotte's boyfriend wants to add another woman to their relationship.moreless

    7.7
While I was watching the show and the scences with Charlotte having the dream about having a threesome, all I could think was that no way don't do it, she can't possilbly and in the end she ended up watching her boyfriend have sex with onther woman. When Miranda felt left out when Charlotte was tring to figure out if she should have a threesome and she said she'd rather have it with a friend and nobody mentioned Miranda. So she anwsered an ad to have one was really weird to me.

Other than that I have nothing to say.

    • Samantha: No muss, no fuss.
Carrie: Sounds like you're selling toilet cleaner.

    • Carrie: Sweetie, don't you think it's weird that you're thinking of sleeping with someone you don't know, to get closer to Jack?
Charlotte: But how well do we ever know the people we sleep with?
Carrie (voiceover): That was the thing about Charlotte. Just when you were about to write her off as a Park Avenue Pollyanna, she'd say something so right on, you'd think she was the Dalai Lama.

    • Carrie: Dreams are a really good way to experiment. It's like a... it's like buying a dress and keeping the tags on.

    • Carrie: Charlotte hadn't been that excited since she tried on her JV cheerleading uniform for the first time.

    • (Discussing whom to call into the threesome)
Samantha: Just make sure that the other woman isn't a friend. Use somebody random, you know, somebody you meet in a bar or something.
      Miranda: That's romantic!
Charlotte: No, I think that I'd feel safer with a friend, with someone I could trust, like Carrie.
Carrie: Oh, gee, I'm flattered. But I'd go with someone who has a little more experience, like Sam.
Samantha: Well, thanks. But there is something sexy about a first-timer like Charlotte.
      Charlotte: Really?
Miranda (feeling out of the loop): Oh great, no, forget about me.
Carrie, Charlotte and Samantha: Oh, come on!
Miranda: I'd do it with you guys. It's like, it' like picking teams for dodge ball all over again.

    • Charlotte: I've never done a threesome.
Samantha: Come on, of course you haven't. You in a threesome? You won't even wear a thong!

    • Charlotte: Jack wants us to do a threesome.
Miranda: Of course he does. Every guy does.
Samantha: Threesomes are huge right now. They're the blow job of the '90's.
Charlotte: What was the blow job of the '80's?
      Samantha: Anal sex.
      Carrie: Any sex, period.
Miranda: Don't let him pressure you into it. It's just this guy's cheap ploy to watch you be a lesbian for a night.
Samantha: Don't knock it till you tried it.

    • (Asked about her fantasies)
Charlotte: I've always wanted to do it in my parents' bed.

    • Carrie: It was the last straw, she was smart, beautiful, and she got me. I'd have to kill her.

    • Charlotte: Jack says I have a fire inside me.
Carrie: You tell him they make a cream for that.

    • Therapist: So what do you think your dream meant?
Miranda: I'm in a sandbox with Charlotte, Sam, and Carrie, and they won't play with me. Please, it's obvious.
Carrie: (voiceover) Across town, Miranda was dealing with her own nightmare.
Miranda: Look, I know it's juvenile, but it bothers me. I'm attractive, I'm smart, right? Plenty of people should want me for a threesome.
Therapist: So, you're saying, that you're attracted to your girlfriends?
Miranda: No! But if your friends won't go down on you, who will?
