  • I didn't like that episode

    1.0
I watch Shake It up with my sister. And I didn't like the eating contest-like concept.
  • The pilot episode was way better!

Now after i saw the pilot episode I got excited for this show but now its looking not so good. Now i'm gonna give this show a chance to see if I will like it. The plot of this episode was a little weak. The acting wasn't that good. Now the plot wasn't that funny. and you could tell it was bad acting like when Rocky laughed at Cece's real name. And it was kind of predicable that they would eat the meatball. I thought it was funny the things Cece was doing while they were eating the meatball. I thought that Cece should've ate the meatball instead of Rocky it would've been more funny. Overral it was an ok Shake it up!moreless
  • This is probably one of the better "Shake It Up" episodes I've seen.

    8.0
There really aren't that many great "Shake It Up" episodes and I think this is probably the best score I'm gonna give an episode of "Shake It Up" because the others are either good, okay, mediocre, or even worse. This was a great episode. Cece's acting is good as always. Rocky's acting was half good but also half poor... the poor part of Rocky's acting was when she was laughing at Cece being called "Cecelia" because you can tell that is not actually her laugh. The good part of Rocky's acting is probably the scene with her, Cece, Ty, and Deuce at the Olive Pit (a.k.a. Olive Garden). It was pretty funny that Cece and Rocky had to eat that giant meatball to make their entire dinner "FREE". There were some bland moments like all "Shake It Up" episodes do but this one actually had less bland moments. This is probably the highest score I'll give a "Shake It Up" episode. I highly doubt that I'll give a "Shake It Up" episode higher than an 8 but it would be a miracle if that does happen. For that to happen, Rocky's acting has to be fully good, the plot has to be good, and Gunther and Tinka would have to be funny rather than annoying. I actually found Gunther and Tinka to be a little funny in this episode and it was also good that Flynn was introduced to Gunther and Tinka especially if this is a second episode of "Shake It Up". Overall, a great episode but this is probably the highest score I'll give an episode of this show. 8/10moreless

Now I'm going to say this first as a disclaimer. I'm not one of the "haters" of this show. I actually like to give shows a chance. I mean I have to admit, the first episode I saw of Shake it Up! left a sour taste in my mouth but it definitely is finding it's footing to say the least.

This was a solid Shake it Up! episode. By this show's standards, it was solid. I could have done without the Pittsburg dance crew but the whole story line about the debit card was actually realistic.

And it was great to see the "finish a 10lb meal and your food is free" story line again. I got nostalgic as I had remembered this wacky story line on Even Stevens a couple years back. I think CeCe's mom needs more screen time. She adds a lot of realism to the show as a single mother. Overall, fine installment of Shake it Up!moreless
