    • QUOTES (6)

      • Shana: (Talking about Yuuji) That's a really weird Torch. All the other Torches I've told the truth either cried or ran away from reality.
Alastor: There was even one that committed suicide.
Shana: But... this one's different. Why?

      • (Yuuji notices Shana in his class)
Yuuji: What are you doing here?
Shana: I told you, I'm keeping an eye on you.
Yuuji: But you didn't have to come all the way here. And that's Hirai's seat.
Shana: I am Hirai Yukari. I barged into the existence of Hirai Yukari.

      • Teacher: (Runs out the classroom) I hear the bells ringing like it's the cops!
        (Jumps out of the window)

      • (Opening)
Yuuji: I gave the name Shana to a girl who was just a Flame Haze. That was the best, I one who eventually disappear, could do to resist.

      • Margery: It smells here....
Marco: It most certainly does, and it's your breath you old boozehound!
        (Marco cackling with laughter
        Margery: Shut up stupid Marco!
(Margery punches him to silence him)

      • English Teacher: 'ey Hirai! What are you doing without your notebook or textbook? Hirai, don't you hear what I'm saying?
Hirai (Shana): You... That fill-in-the-blank problem, a meaningless spot is left blank. It's not a quiz game, so only leave places where one can make conjectures from the context blank. The correct answer is: That which we call a rose, by any other name, would smell as sweet. But you wouldn't have a chance of getting it right unless you'd had the original sentence memorized. And if you look at the paragraph, you're missing two more sentences.
Eng. Teacher: What are you saying...
Hirai (Shana): Besides, your explanations suck, and all you do is continue on and on with meaningless talk. If you intend to teach me, come back after you study.

    • NOTES (2)

    • ALLUSIONS (2)

      • One teacher bares a resemblence to Albert Einstein, while another looks like Adolf Hitler.

      • Shana: That which we call a rose, by any other name, would smell as sweet.

This is a reference to Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, a play which involved the tale of two lovers.
