Billy is having troubles with his car again as Ryu is trying to hitch a ride with him. With no food and water, everyone is too exhausted, hungry, and thirsty to move on. But Horo Horo creates ice using his abilities, and volunteers to scout ahead for some food. He finds a deer, but a shaman named Allan, who's oversoul is a giant bear, stops him. Because the two related so well with nature, Allan and Horo Horo became quick friends. But then, construction vehicles arrive and start cutting down trees. Allan destroys most of them, but Horo Horo intervenes, saying he agrees with his philosophy, but not with his methods. Allan persists, and causes a fire with his wrath. Horo Horo is forced to use his ultimate technique to put out the blaze. Horo Horo comes back to the group with meat, and tells them they need to repair their debt by rebuilding nature. Meanwhile, Anna presents a bracelet to Yoh's grandfather.
This was a great episode. Horo Horo finally gets an episode of his own, and it doesn't involve the usual slap stick comedy of him and his exaggerated expressions. Allan is another nice addition to the show; the usual nature loving character you might see every now and then in any given show. His presence won't hurt. Though I'm still wondering what Anna pulled out of the depths of the lake, and why she had to bathe in freezing ice cold water.
