  • Manta the hero?

It seems like despite the defeat of the Dai Dou Rou, Shamans are still disappearing. Silva discovers it's the work of Buddhist monks who are excorcising all of the Shaman's spirits, forcing them to go home. Ryu was the first member of the group to have his spirit sealed. Manta was also captured by them. Yoh and the others chased after Manta, and the Buddhist monks appeared. Faust steps up, but gets his spirit sealed as well. Yoh protects Amidamaru, because he truly believe he's an evil spirit, but convinces him other wise. Then, Manta, being controlled by Mosuke, being controlled by the Buddhist monks, approaches towards Yoh to fight him. However, Mosuke became Manta's spirit for a quick second, and smashed the leader of the monks with a large hammer. Yoh uses his spirit of sword, and jokingly pretends to be possessed by evil spirits. Yoh's father, who's responsible for all this, stops the leader, and everyone's spirits are released.

Well, at least this isn't another case, where a member of the group meets a person, and somehow gets involved with those people, and is forced to fight them in the Shaman Fight. Well, it kind of is the same, except that it is Manta now, which is actually pretty cool, since he finllay gets a spirit. And it seems like it'll remain that way since Mosuke at the end of the episode says he doesn't know how to go back. Though like the other episodic episodes in the past, a story is quickly told, and the ending is rushed. What makes this better than the rest is the fact that Manta finally becomes a Shaman.moreless
