When questioning her future with Jimmy, Fiona takes the kids on a camping trip with her boss. Ian is heartbroken over Mickey's wedding to the girl he got pregnant. Lip is suspicious of Mandy. Meanwhile, Frank and Carl plan a heist.

The city of Chicago is digging up the sewer main. This is bad because Aunt Ginger is still buried in lawn and the Gallaghers have to find her before the city does.

Fiona starts a new job at an office. Mandy affects Lip's future, while Karen pushes Mandy to the edge. Frank manages to become the public face of a gay rights movement.

Just when Fiona's life seems to be a little less complicated, Jimmy reveals his desire to return to med school. Elsewhere, Frank enjoys his newfound celebrity.

Jimmy thinks about introducing Fiona to his family, while Frank tries to bust Monica out of the psychiatric institution and Sheila and Jody try to raise Karen's child as their own.

Fiona stresses over booking a club night, while Lip stresses over the money she used to get the gig. Estefania's father recruits a hitman to follow Jimmy everywhere he goes. Meanwhile, Frank needs to find a new home.

Frank discovers Ian and Mickey's relationship. Meanwhile, Jody and Sheila take care of Grammy who is dying. Lip wants to leave school and Fiona tells him about her plans to go back and get a GED.

Now that Jimmy is a little more boring, Fiona has to work on adjusting to the changes. Jimmy is confronted by his past. Frank, meanwhile, wakes up in a land completely foreign to him after one serious blackout.

Monica shows up again and Frank tries to get his hands on the inheritance. Meanwhile, Jody and Sheila think they are haunted.

Fiona faces Craig's wife after sleeping with him. Meanwhile, Debbie develops a rash due to stress and Frank fears Sheila is about to kick him out of her house.

Carl heads off to cancer camp. Lip helps Mandy find her estranged younger half-sister, whose mother just died. With Frank on babysitting duty, Sheila tries to convince Jody to mix things up in bed. Meanwhile, Jimmy learns some truth about his dad.

Fiona walks into Steve and his new girlfriend Estefania on Jasmine's end-of-summer blowout. In the meantime, Frank tries to get rid of Grammy, while Fiona enjoys her company. Lip prepares a prenup for Jody and Karen.
