  • One of the better episodes, without the usual over-dramatic acting and preachiness...and a cool stunt by Captain Marvel!

I liked this episode. It had a good moral which was well communicated without being over-preachy. Don (Wink Roberts) is a good mechanic and asks himself a question all of us who are good at something have probably asked: "why do I need school?" His sister, played by a young Lisa Eilbacher (of "Beverly Hills Cop" and "An Officer and a Gentleman" fame) is deeply concerned but still loves him and doesn't overly nag him about it. Along the way Don learns a few lessons, like how to tell which way is east by the sun and the shadows and like about the water table, that he can only get from education. And, most importantly, he decides on his own that he needs education, rather that being forced or frightened into it. Mentor shows us he can handle a motorbike pretty well, too. The best of all is Captain Marvel's drilling a hole in the ground to spray water to put out the mine fire, a must-see!moreless

However, in the close-up of Billy, he is playing a black electric guitar and in the cut-away shot he is playing a standard natural finish acoustic guitar. Edit
