  • While members of the Great Rebellion attempt to free He-man from the Horde's prison on Beast Island, Adora tours Etheria and learns how the Horde really rules the planet.

The second episode is just as good as the first. She-ra still does not make an appearance. The characters introduced in the first episode are further revealed to the viewers. Battle Cat and He-man are still written as the strongest heroes. Glimmer collapses after casting a spell. Bow trips while running from a monster on Beast Island and has to be saved by Battle Cat. Madame Razz is depicted as powerful, but absentminded. Bow remains somewhat of a flat character. He comes off as oafish but heroic in a cheesy way. The story develops as Force Captain Adora appears to be under the spell of Hordak and Shadoweaver. She is a member of the Horde only through deception and dark magic. The escape from Beast Island is exciting. The humor is geared toward a very young audience (Madame Razz turns Hordesmen into sheep when she meant to send them to sleep).moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • In the recap from Into Etheria Adora is shown with the Sword of Protection instead of the decoy sword she had during that episode; and He-Man was shown with his Sword of Power instead of the Sword of Protection he had with him during that episode.

    • Look close: When Hordak shoots the rebel ship out of the sky, the display panel in front of him flashes. It's hard to make out, but pausing the frame proves that there are words there stating "DIE DIE".
