Loo-Kee's Moral: Books are a great treasure and it would be a shame to waste or lose them.
Speaking of Hose Nose/Snout Spout, he was originally intended to appear in this episode. The original notes for the episode stated that he would make a brief cameo to extinguish some of the flames burning the books, but the final episode features no appearance by him.
The character Tung Lashor is curiously referred to as simply 'Tung' in this episode. Since the new characters in this season were in their working stage at the time, and the figures were not out yet, it is likely that Mattel were undecided on Tung Lashor's name (as in the case of Snout Spout/Hose Nose), since he is called by yet another name, 'Tung Lash' in "Gateway to Trouble".
This is one of the few She-Ra episodes in which we get to see a more realistic portrayal of the Horde, showcasing the full depth of their atrocities. The book burning ceremonies and spread of pro-Horde propaganda is clearly inspired by the real-life activities of the Nazis in Germany. The episode gives a strong stance against totalitarian government. Another episode which portrays the Horde in this way is "The Price of Freedom".
