Elbert is attending a very fancy garden party when he hears his uncle shout an obscenity at a croquet match. The swear word takes the form of a small strom cloud with arms. It's covered in bristly black fur and follows Elbert wherever he goes. Later on in the party, Elbert is very bored, and when he yawns, the bad word shoots into his mouth and down his throat, waiting for just the right time to leap out! The time comes when Elbert's uncle drops a mallet on little Elbert's foot. He starts to scream, and the words comes out. Everyone is embarassed and outraged. Elbert is forced to wash out his mouht with soap, but the word still won't leave him. He decides to ask the local magician/gardener for help. The wizard helps him by baking up a whole bunch of good, useful words into a cake, and haveing Elbert eat said cake. Later on at another party, the same chian of events unfolds and a mallet lands harshly on poor Elbert's foot. He opens his mouth and everyone holds their breath, waiting for another bad word. But all they hear are a bunch of good useful words, and everyone is very happy with Elbert. As they all begin to dance Elbert sees the bad word, now the size of a very small spider crawl into a hole deep in the ground. Elbert was victorious over the bad word!
