I honestly can't think of anything bad to say about 'Sherlock'. It makes you laugh, it makes you cry, it makes you sit in suspence: It's a new twist on Sherlock Holmes being set in a contemporary enviroment; a concept many may had their doubts about when hearing it at first - including me - and being proven wrong.

With an extremely talented cast; from the two main actors (Benidict Cumberbatch [Sherlock], and Martin Freeman, [Watson]), to the supporting cast (Andrew Scott [Moriarty]) the characters are given a new life whilst still maintaining the quirks that Conan Doyal created back in 1887. It is true brilliance to be able to direct and act a character in such a way that it still upholds the same vision intended over a hundred years ago.

The plots have been altered in order to create the contemporary feel, but still manages to keep the some moments and the general plot from the books. The show gives the audience the chance to love its characters, figure out the mystery, deliver some comedy and keep the audience in such suspence that it leaves them wanting much, much more.

This show is a masterpiece and I encourage every one to watch it. I love every aspect of this show and I hope to continue watching and enjoying every second of the series as I already have done.moreless

I have never taken the time to write a review for a TV show - until now. So nice to see a very witty, clever and exciting show, unlike anything else on! Actors are amazing and cannot wait to see more episodes. I hope Sherlock stays for many years to come!

When I first learn of this show existence when it was season 2 episode 2 I was skeptical at first if this was going to be any good. After reading the reviews I decided to go on ahead and look at the first episode. What scared me is that they were basing the time theme in modern times, but after looking at the first episode I was hooked and I mean very hooked. How Sherlock and Watson got to know each other and first meet was special. The cases are entertaining, funny and brilliant a lot of geek stuff. When Sherlock goes in the zone detective analysis, when he brainstorms after details of the case of possibilities and what he knows. Very remarkable I haven't seen a show like this and they should keep this up because this show is special.moreless
