Hello. 1) Mycroft yells get away from that man and Magnussen replies, why? Why would Magnussen assume he was talking to him. 2) Magnussen was in a white projection room where HE could see things that John and Sherlock could not. 3) Magnussen has been physically modified so that the glass "work" on him not Sherlock. 4) Mycroft protects Magnussen because he "created" Magnussen on some level to gain information that he himself could not gain. Gaining information is Mycroft's priority. 5) Sherlock calculated that Magnussen was not completely human but was, in fact, the vault and destroyed the vault not a man.

Here I thought Sherlock screwing the bridesmaid was the coolest scene possible, and then Mary?!? shoots Sherlock with a very dangerous professional assassins pistol.my flabber was well and truly gastedAnd THEN - they poison everyone at Christmas dinner in order to steal Mycroft's (MIKE?!?) laptop. well, as soon as I saw Magnussen in his mind palace I knew Sherlock had to take him out - abso only solution.Mycroft hopes Sherlock has used those four minutes in the plane on his way to dangerous Eastern Europe to learn his lesson. Well, what do you think?Brilliant from start to finish

Oh and shouldn't Jim Moriarty (Andrew Scott (II)) be on the choices for the episode MVP as well? :P

There's only a limited # of choice for who can be listed for MVP: up to 6 regulars, up to 3 guest stars, up to 3 recurrings. (Basically, everyone who appears on the primary episode page.) Moving up Person A would bump down Person B.

This has been noted to staff repeatedly, but they seem to be in no hurry to have Development make any change to it.

The cast does not need to appear in the exact order as the credits are listed on television, so please use your best editorial judgment to put the most worthy MVP candidates at the top!

Also, Pat, did you see my post in the feedback thread where I noted that your statement that stars who have received a vote will remain on the MVP list even if you reorder the list once they get some votes... wasn't correct?

Once voting begins on the day the episode airs, the poll is locked by the vote count. That means that even if the episode cast list is re-ordered, actors who have already received a vote will remain.

At least that's what I understood you to mean. If that were the case, I wouldn't mind temporarily moving someone out of subjective order long enough to get some votes so they would "stick" to the MVP list. But it's not the case. :(

Apologies, I hadn't, but good to know. I just confirmed it was the case by moving Andrew Scott up in the list. I actually saw this as a limitation, so I'm glad you will have that control. Let's discuss further via PM if you have concerns.

I mean "objective order," sorry.

*shrug* As I noted before, as an editor I have no opinion one way or another. Anything I choose among recurrings would be removing someone's favorite from the voting, so it's a no-win situation.
