  • A very dark and very interesting show that is so much more than it first appears.

    8.0
The show focuses around a priest named Keisei who works for a cult that fights undead monsters called shikabane, Keiseis partner a shikabane hime called Makina and his little brother Ouri who becomes involved in his dangerous work.

The show is filled with excellent fight scenes between brilliantly crafted monsters. But the real highlight is the emotional interactions of the characters. The show asks some very deep questions about what constitutes humanity and the way nwe treat those that are different. It also has some excellent moments between the three main characters and it is this dynamic that drives the show forward. All in all this is a great sho and one that more people should be watching.moreless
