      • This show marks the first time that clips taped in England were edited into a Shindig episode taped in the U.S. Contrary to popular belief, in 1964 the technology DID exist to convert British videotapes to the American standard. (In previous years, the networks were unable to convert foreign videotapes so they relied on 16mm kinescopes.) Because ABC was able to convert the tapes to U.S. standard, the British clips match the U.S. segments without a noticeable change in picture quality.

      • This is probably the second episode with Teri Garr.
