      • For the second season, Shindig was divided into two half-hour shows. ABC aired the series Thursdays and Saturdays at 7:30pm (Eastern). Unfortunately, many ABC affiliates across the country chose to air syndicated or local shows in Shindig's time slot. These stations then moved Shindig to various non-prime time hours. This time-shifting of Shindig, no doubt, hurt the series' national ratings.
