Celebrities join members of the public to form teams representing areas of the UK, competing against one another in a set of physical and mental games and challenges to see which UK region is Simply The Best. Two or three current bands or artists also performed throughout the show, which aired for 95 minutes per episode. The show aired in ITV1's Saturday primetime slot for eight episodes from July 17th 2004 through to September 4th 2004. It was hosted by Kirsty Gallacher and Phil Tufnell.
