  • A show that deserves a second chance!

God, I remember watching this show with my mom every week! "Sing Me a Story with Belle" had a workable premise: Belle, the heroine from Disney's 1991 animated classic "Beauty and the Beast" and now owner of her village's book and music shop, tells stories to the children of her village-stories told through the Disney animated shorts of the 40s and 50s and revolving around the moral or lesson of the day.

I enjoyed this show so much that, for years afterward, I followed the careers of those involved in its production. To Disney: Give this show a second chance-either on DVD or in new episodes for Disney Channel. "Underappreciated?" You better believe it!moreless
